Atraverda
have supplied prototype lead acid batteries for feasibility testing
as a part of the ASTOR project (Assessment and Testing of Advanced
Energy Storage Systems for Propulsion and Other Electrical Systems
in Passenger Cars), a program sponsored by a consortium of European
automakers, including BMW and Daimler-Chrysler, to test advanced
energy-storage systems. Initial evaluation will be carried out
by an independent test-house in Germany.
